One of the biggest annoyances of iWeb users is the lack of support for Anchors in iWeb. I have seen loads of ‘iWeb Wishlists’ requesting such a feature but it hasn’t been forthcoming. If you don’t know already anchors are (put simply) a way of linking one element of your page with another element further down (or up) the page. They are often best demonstrated on FAQ pages where all the questions are listed at the top of the page and the answers are lower down; when you click on a question you get taken straight to the relevant answer. iWeb 3.0.1 Upgrade – did it work for you?
Apple announced an update to iWeb 09 on 26 Mar, stating that it would address issues when publishing to FTP servers as well as other minor issues. Since iWeb 09 went live I have received loads of e-mails from iWeb users saying that they were having problems uploading to their web space via FTP and the list of posts on the Apple iWeb forums has been tremendous. Check your iWeb site hyperlinks
How many times have you visited a web-site, read a bit of juicy information, clicked on the link that appears within the text only to find that the link doesn’t work? Infuriating isn’t it.
