Adding a form to your iWeb site does several things all at the same time. To begin with it adds interactivity for your users; a vital element for any site. It can offer site visitors a means of contacting the site owner, purchasing products, signing up to newsletters, answering surveys or providing feedback. If you are anything like me, you wish that the iWeb sites navigation bars were more user friendly.  By that I mean you can move them or change the links within them to name but a few.  So after a bit of a play about with my tester site I came up with the following solution.  Not only do I think the results look better, but they are far more customisable.

Customise the default RSS icon in iWeb

Take a look around the internet at any site that allows you to subscribe to an RSS feed and you will no doubt notice a little orange icon decorated with a few curved white lines.  Obviously this has become the ‘icon of choice’ for web designers the world-over when it comes to adding RSS functionality to their sites.  Apple on the other hand seem to want to go against the grain when it comes to iWeb and has stuck to their guns with the little blue icon.
