That’s right, a brand spanking new version of our favorite web design tool is being released at the end of the month as part of the all new iLife 09. Phil Schiller made the announcement earlier on today during his keynote speech at MacWorld 09. A new version of iLife was on the cards and has been talked about for the last 3 or 4 months on many of the various Mac related web-sites as people have being trying to second guess Apple and what would be talked about at MacWorld. Comments on a non-MobileMe blog – Update
Many of you will have read my previous two tutorials on inserting comments into an iWeb blog that isn’t hosted with a MobileMe account and thank you to those people who sent me favourable e-mails on them. Haloscan, the people who gave us the orignal code for adding the comments to the site have been taken over by a company called JS-Kit and they in turn have made the process for adding comments to your iWeb blog different. Until I compiled this list of add-ons designed especially for iWeb, I never realised how many there are available. Some are free and some you will have to pay a few dollars for, but all are have been built with one thing in common, making iWeb a better web application. This list is by no means exhaustive and if you know of an iWeb add-on that I have missed leave a comment at the end. I also want to point out that I have not tried all of these apps but just wanted to compile a complete list in one place, because I know how long I have spent on Google searching for them when I started with iWeb.
