Loads of freeware image apps for iWeb designers

I was asked in the comments section of my post about faking columns in iWeb recently if I had any suggestions for great, easy to use image applications. Well this got me thinking. I try and use Gimp if I can although I am not very good and I did have a bash at the trial of Photoshop but that didn’t go to well either.

On top of that, over the last few weeks I have been building some custom iWeb themes and so had need of a simple graphics package; time to do some investigating. Whilst searching for said graphics package I was amazed at how many other free applications there are available to us Mac users come iWeb designers; so here is my list. Read more

Rage iWeb SEO Tool 1.5 is out

As I menti0ned last week I had received an e-mail from Paul Levine over at Rage software letting me know (amoungst other things) that Rage were in the process of updating their extremely popular iWeb SEO tool.

Okay, I hold my hands up. I made a boob. Recently I published a post on All About iWeb that explained how it was possible to add, with the help of an HTML Snippet, header tags to your iWeb site. Well, you can’t.

iWeb SEKeyword tool from Rage

sekeywordA little while ago I reviewed the iWeb SEO Tool from Rage Software and found that, as a free product it was an excellent way of adding all sorts of things to your iWeb site that would help with the overall search engine optimization.

Safari 4 is out now!

safari_iconMany of us were waiting for the latest Apple news and releases that are part of the Keynote speech at the WWDC every year and aside from the updated Macbooks, the new iPhone and of course Snow Leopard the release of Safari 4 was mentioned.

As one of the only browsers around to get 100/100 from the Acid3 test for browsers it’s good news (IE8 only got 21/100, oh dear). Read more
